Vanessa Wyatt is the founder of Palate Profit and a Gold Coast–based restaurant operations specialist with a rare mix of chef creativity and owner-level business experience.

After moving from Ngaruawahia, New Zealand to the Gold Coast in 2002, Vanessa built her career across Queensland hospitality—and by just 21, she had opened her first restaurant in Longreach. She later launched Main Wave Restaurant in Main Beach and went on to establish Cedar Creek Restaurant on Tamborine Mountain, delivering winery dining, weddings, and high-volume international tour group service.

Vanessa has lived the reality of hospitality: the long days, tight margins, staffing challenges, and the constant push to deliver great food and service—without burning out. Her strength is translating real-world experience into simple, effective systems that improve performance fast.

Through Palate Profit, Vanessa supports restaurant owners and managers to lift standards, tighten operations, and build a business that runs better, earns more, and gives them their life back.
